Background
Our Commitment: Attorney-Prepared Documents, Simplified for You.
Welcome. My name is Joshwa Huff, and I am one of the founders of Pearson Huff Chartered. Unlike national websites that provide generic, non-attorney legal forms, my practice is built on a simple premise: providing Florida legal documents prepared and reviewed by a licensed attorney, delivered through a modern, efficient online process.
Our focus is narrow but deep: Florida probate avoidance and incapacity planning at an affordable price.
Why I Chose to Offer This Product
Throughout my years practicing Estate and Guardianship Law here in Broward County, I noticed that the majority of friends and clients were receiving advice that would cause them to pay more than I felt was necessary to secure their estate plan. Although they have been available since a court decision in 1917 in Florida, many people have never heard of Lady Bird Deeds and do not know to ask about them when doing their estate planning. I think they can be a cost effective approach for most people when attempting to avoid probate. I wanted to provide that resource to people throughout the state.

Personal
Outside of work, my life is centered around my family. My wife and I are raising our young son, and most of my time away from the job is spent with them. We enjoy traveling, exploring new places, or just enjoying quiet days at home together. Family is the grounding force in everything I do, and they’re the reason I strive to keep growing both personally and professionally.
I’ve also been a dedicated volunteer firefighter with the Plantation Fire Department since 2015. Serving my community in this role has become a meaningful part of my identity. It allows me to give back in a hands-on way, stay connected to the neighbors around me, and set an example of service and commitment for my son as he grows up.
